My Heroes

            For someone who has been constantly surrounded by women since I was born, it is no surprise that I am closest to the women who are in my life, especially those in my family. To me, each of these women carry special characteristics that make them who they are, and so making them someone I can rely on and look up to, just like a hero out of a comic book. In them, I see maturity, grace, warmth, brilliance, innocence and strength, all qualities that I value and admire. They are, of course, not without flaws, but I believe that is what makes them true heroes.
